Does my number work if I live outside the US or I'm travelling?
Short answer
Yes. You read your texts online in the dashboard, the Android app or the browser extension, so they reach you wherever you are.
There's no SIM card to carry and nothing to switch on when you land. Roaming doesn't come into it, because the number never lives on your phone's network.
That also helps when your home SIM won't receive texts abroad, or when you move countries and want your accounts to keep the same number.
