Why didn't my verification code arrive?

Work through these in order

1. Check the number you typed, including the country code. A missing +1 or +44 is the most common cause.
2. Wait a full minute, then press Refresh on the Numbers screen before asking for another code.
3. Resend once. Many services stop sending after three to five requests and only start again after 15 to 30 minutes.
4. If the service says the number is already in use, read the article linked below. Mobile numbers get reissued, and some services remember old accounts.
