Can I use my Quackr ID number for SMS verification and two-factor codes?

Short answer

Yes. Sign-up codes, login codes and two-factor texts arrive in your dashboard within seconds, and the browser extension can fill them in for you.

That's the main job the number does: it lets you sign up without your real phone number. Give it to a service instead of your personal number, and every code it sends lands on the Numbers screen of your dashboard and in the Android app.

With the Quackr ID extension in Chrome or Firefox, the code is offered for you to paste into the page you're signing in on as soon as it arrives. No switching tabs, no copying six digits by hand.

Because the number stays yours while you subscribe, it works for accounts you'll sign back into next year, not just a one-time sign-up. For services that support authenticator apps, you can keep those codes in the 2FA section of Quackr ID as well.
