How do Quackr ID virtual cards work?
Short answer
They're prepaid virtual cards you load from your card wallet, so a merchant can only ever charge what you've put on that card.
Top up your card wallet from the Cards screen, then move money onto the cards you want to use. Each card has its own number, expiry date and CVV, and its own balance.
Pay with one of your cards instead of giving your credit card. If the shop is breached or tries to charge more than you expected, it runs into the card's balance and stops there. You can pause a card whenever you like.
What it costs
- Your first 2 cards are free.
- Extra cards are $2 each, up to 5 cards in total.
- A declined transaction costs $0.65, taken from your card wallet.
